Rukshan Azhar, MD
Dr. Rukshan Azhar completed her medical education in India with highest honors, and subsequently completed her post-graduate training in Internal Medicine. She additionally trained in Adult Psychiatry in England. After completing an internship in Pediatrics, she then specialized in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch for an additional two years. She is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has been seeing patients in Baytown and surrounding areas for 30 years —in some cases, treating up to three-generations of families, with excellent outcomes.
Nisha Azhar, MD
Dr. Nisha Azhar enjoys treating patients of all ages. Her education background includes four years of Undergraduate Education and four years of Medical School. She then completed three years of General Adult Psychiatry Residency Training with two additional years of specialization (Fellowship) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She has extensive experience working in various clinical settings. She is dual board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
